Something very irritating about the app store is that you have to buy the app before you know whether its a winner or a dog. I guess the rationale is that its "only a couple a bucks"- but its like a license to dip into tens of thousands of wallets. PS: I am an architect who expected to actually use this thing once in a while. I had the impression that it somehow cleverly used the iphone camera & parallax theory to automatically & instantly calculate distances (like some auto focus cameras do). Forget about it.

Worked great until iOS 4. Now none of the tools will open. I got this over a year ago and it worked great. Dont buy until they have a note saying its compatible with OS4.

Some portions I do not use, others are indispensable. Revise for OS4 please!

This app is crap it doesnt work it opens then u touch screen and then nothing just nerve racking and irritating not worth 5 cents much less 2 bucks

The older version quit working when 4.0 os came out. But this app has been fixed and works perfect again. Thank you for the update.

Ignorant app, I feel so stupid for getting sucked into buying it. Just save your money and count your footsteps. Thats all it does!

This is probably the most negative review Ive written for an iTunes Store App EVER. Ive written very few reviews one way or the other but that Im stopping my busy day to write this one tells you something. I loaded this on my iPhone 4 (blurry images no support of retina display) and tried a few of them and mostly it is instructions on how to pretty much approximate distances and measurements using the size of your foot and supplementing it with actual measurements with REAL measuring implements. With very few exceptions it requires multiple gestiamating steps to do anything I can take the $2 hit I suppose but PLEASE save yourself the disappointment and move on. This is less useful then a fart app. No really, seriously.

Rather disappointed with the lack of features for this $1.99 app. So-so execution on the bulk of the functions, my suggestion: drop it to $0.99 and call it a day.

I have a cheaper app that actually does a few of these things that can be done on the phone. Thank god I got it for free. Please dont waste money on it. The negative reviews are all true. Pure

This app is a handy app that gives you several tools to measure your environment. I have used the lightening range finder and walking wheel. Both worked great

It can be a life saver. Very innovative and full of resources. I was looking for few of these things but what I found in it is a jack pot.

I like the app. Most of the tools come in handy. But the $1.99 feels a bit steep

For not being precise and being for fun they should let you at least try the app before paying for it. If you think you are mesuring something with this app, think again. You can use google if you need info on how to mesure without a tool... Seriously....

Wide array of tools (some I didnt know I needed until I tried them out). Perplexed by the neg reviews. Not sure what there is not to like. Its graphically a little bland compared to the visual glitziness of some others. And theres a small learning curve before one can grasp all of its possibilities, but it has many more interesting and useful features than any other tool app Ive tried. Very good, and recommended.

I was looking for something easier to use than actual measuring tapes but this app makes measuring even more complicated... Price is definately too high...$2.99!!! Wish I could have my $ back.

Complete waist of $2.99. Even though I paid for it I still deleted it.
